Having my first children’s book published, combined with my MA in Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies, I hope to be able to work more closely with a publisher to publish a series of children’s books for different ages. The focus of these books will be representation in all shapes and forms, to ensure kids see that they can be whoever they want to be, no matter gender; race; sexuality; religion; and disabilities.
I believe I can use my degree during my acting career, as a way of connecting with and portraying female characters and I hope to use that experience in performance, as well as in the creation of the work.
